I wanted to make a game based mostly on choice, while also trying to get practice with my technical skills in Twine. In it I'd like to create an understandable setting and plot for the narrative without using too much exposition. There will be a few items that the player can choose to leave behind or use and there are different consequences to the players actions. If the player uses an item, they can not use it a second time.

Hi Jo!

I really really like the world-building that you managed to flesh out in so little time. The sci-fi city background was a fantastic addition and carried the imagery far. I think my one concern regarding the image was that it made the text a little hard to read at some times, and other times I couldn't find the magenta/blue text because it blended in with the neon of the image, but ultimately its impact was more positive than negative.

I LOVE games like this, where little choices completely determine the ending. There is so much tension in the fast-paced narrative you're going for. The first time I played through, I got the ending where Jessie is shot by Hoard. There was no "Play Agin" button here for some reason, so I had to reset the page. To save time in the future, it would be helpful to have this as an option even if you "lose." The second time, varying my choices in some areas but staying consistent in others, I successfully got her/him/them out alive. Yay!

Hi Jo!

In the set-off stage, when I checked the things I was going to carry, the system showed a warning and suggested that I think about the others. They also show the history or story behind them, which makes me really nervous about which to leave because everything is so important! Also, this makes the storyline more integral.

The background gives a really good atmosphere of sci-fi; however, it sometimes distracts me from the text.

I really love the font design; the two opposite colors allow me to clearly understand which part is clickable and where I can play with it.

I really liked the sci-fi/action feeling of the narrative.  It is really intriguing to have to choose what tools to bring and see if they help you to resolve the situations you face. The plot is very interesting and it felt like the choices actually cause important consequences.

I also really like the idea that player are only allowed to use an item for once, it create a strategy aspect that make the player care more about how they are interacting with the plot!

I think the background could change more times or add a few imagery to reflect where or what is happening in the plot, that would add a lot more immersion!

I also think the texts are a bit condensed right now, it will be more engaging if they are more separated into several pages
